KETOGENIC DIET – HOW TO LOSE FAT PERMANENTLY without rebounding, CALORIE CYCLING

Until rather recently I was doing 20-22 hour fasts 3-5 days per week.
Because of my schedule (I work nights) I would eat after waking up in the
evening (after working out), then fast until the next evening. This meant
working all night, coming home in the morning, not eating anything, then
going to bed on an empty stomach. After more than a year of doing the
wrong thing (coinciding with a long fat loss plateau), I wised up and
started eating after I got home from work with dramatic results. Since my
job requires that I am constantly on the move and doing physical labor, I
began to realize I was likely bringing my metabolism to a crawl and
entering starvation mode by not eating after working all night. Before I
was consuming an average of around 2,500 calories a day, whereas now I am
losing fat while building muscle consuming 3,000-4,000 on many days. Some
days I will spike my caloric intake to around 5,000 calories and notice
that instead of looking as though I have gained fat, I actually look leaner
the next day.
I still do upwards of two 24 hour fasts twice per week, but I make sure
that it falls on my nights off. It’s always important that one eats
according to their activity level as to not create too much of a deficit
which will only lead to fat retention.
I have been loosing lots of weight on Keto I started at 350 lbs and now I
am 269 lbs still a ways to go for 5 ‘ 10″ guy but I am getting ther on my
journey to get healthy my doctor discovered high calcium and low Vit D
after tons of testing I a suffer from hyperparathyroidism . I am looking a
surgery at some point to fix this and the doctor says it had nothing to do
with my diet , but I have had a hard time staying in Ketosis I am usually
only 15 on a keto stick or a little less and it seems I stall allot on
weight loss then drop 4-6 lbs in a few weeks then stall again for almost a
month is this normal or possibly part of my Parathyroid problem ?

Been lifting for four weeks. Eating 177 of protein and the rest fats to get
cals in at 1600 not lost 1lb.. Should I drop protein down to 0.8 per 1 lb
of body weight.. Might that help me lose some fat. I’m 177 lb and need to
cut… Been watching all ya vids and man what an inspiration. I’m just abit
lost as to what protein I should eat x thank you x
This is kinda random, but I was watching the Zeitgeist movies last night
and I thought of you. I totally understand why you picked up and moved to
Ecuador…I honestly felt like getting the hell out of this country (United
States) and moving my family to a more remote place. I have tons of respect
for you for making that decision, Tristan.

Excellent diet to use at end of dieting down.sucks to gain muscle.the only
thing that builds high quality muscle is by far CARBS.just my opinion that
is.
Great progress mate and definitely shows how well this works.
I’ve hit a plateau lately and was considering intermittent fasting, but
might give this calorie cycling a go.

awesome, this happened to me!! I’m going to try the cycling. 2 questions
maybe you can do a video on them. one dairy and keto. Im not lactose
intolerance but i noticed that dairy throws me off. I did some research and
I think when lactose is broken down to galactose it stalls keto. but i
might be wrong. 2nd question. is creatine while in ketosis. Alot of mixed
results when i google it, but most people who talk about it arnt on keto so
im not sure they are right. thank you. Keep making the video im loving
them.
You should do a video for beginners that want to try Keto. Like all your
meals during the day.

Can you do a video on how you eat for a day as a simple suggestion?
I’m having trouble reaching my macros on the ketogenic diet. Keto foods
fill me up for a long time and as a consequence I have no urge to eat. How
can I bypass this?
So, do you and your wife need a babysitter, house cleaner, dog walker,
buddy? Because I want to come where YOU are and hire you as my own personal
