Everyone here has to calm their tits. I swear, yall are over reacting. You
can’t control his career. Its his life. Stop getting up on people’s asses

This is why Rose don’t say much, people don’t understand what he is trying
to say at times. Rose is saying why play injured and fuck his body up even
more, that’s all. Shit I wouldn’t play on 2 messed up ankles and knees
either. Rose just trying to protect himself so that he doesn’t end up in a

Look… I’m blessed to have seen pretty much the greatest athletes all of
time in my short 32 years. I’ve been able to see them play some of their
greatest moments to there worst. This comment in all seriousness is not
even a big deal. I understand exactly what he’s saying. We as fans love you
while you play but don’t give a fuck about you when you retire. He’s 26
going through one of the most worst injuries for an athlete. Especially for
someone who hasn’t been injured in his career. I get tired of this analyst
condemn this players who aren’t just playing for the city but for their
family. I”m usually a supporter of these guys from Cowherd to Van Pelt.
They all are attacking this guy like he said something that no other player
thinks about. Why the hell do they hold out for…? To make more money to

on about players who had to retire early because of injuries that today
aren’t death wishes. Get off this dudes back. Let him run his body the way

To me, its fear. he fears that his career will end early like Brandon Roy
but that’s part of the game. Injuries come with it. Give him time, he’ll

100% healthy again… That 2011 MVP season Rose had was him at his best and

a drose jersey. I had him as a top 5 player a few years ago. Thought he was

At first I felt Stephen A and Skip were overreacting. Then I thought about
my love for b-ball. I’ve played on the college level, I tore my ACL,
Meniscus and had an Achilles rupture. Never once did I even think that I
wouldnt attempt to play bball again. I’m much older and well past my
physical prime and I still play bball when I can. I recently broke my
finger and havent played since but when it heals I’ll be back on the court
ASAP. Its all for the love of the game. My knee, achilles and other
injuries will never be the same and I have no problems with playing with my
kid or attending bday parties or picking my son up from school. Rose doesnt
seem to have the same kinda love for the game. If I were an NBA GM, I might
hesitate to pay him if I fear that he could walk away at random like Barry
Sanders. Rose is paid the big bucks to sacrifice his body for the game. He
has health insurance and enough money to be set for life, man up and play
ball is my opinion. Dude sounds soft talking about aches and pains. There
are people who never played sports a day in there live and have to deal
with aches and pains. Its a part of life, a part of aging. Maybe Rose didnt
mean to sound so soft but he did.
