I just wanna thank you for your helpful tips. I watched this video months
ago when I was starting on my diet.
It was really challenging for me at first but videos like this really
inspired and motivated me. I’ve lost over 20lbs and now I’m at 103lbs.
I’ve never felt so confident and beautiful like I do now.
Thank you again,
Btw you’re so gorgeous
you are so cute!
I like the ‘one healthy meal/ workout at a time’ approach I will use that.
Regarding the weekly weigh in that helped you; I have found that a monthly
one is good for me as you are more likely to record a loss in that time
span which reduces the disappointment factor, and binge eating risk, of a
weight gain. Im really glad that your techniques are working for you and
hope I look as healthy by christmas!
Diet coke just has a lot of sodium; it keeps water in your system longer
and is bubbly when can make you feel bloated. Also caffeine.
Thanks for sharing your story! Very encouraging to hear. I like your
approach – cut out the bad, take in the good – keep it simple – keep it
disciplined. Looking forward to some of your food blogs as well. As I am
on my own journey, it’s great to see others having success :-)
Thank you. You have really inspired me.
Thanks for your vid, it was really helpful. I just saw a video that
mentioned that cheating is okay and realistic, but to see someone healthy,
happy, and strictly no excuses was motivating!
This is a very inspiration video. You can’t begin to see power that your
presence has on the viewer. You are a testament to health and it shows that
the things you’re doing are really helpful. Your hair is sleek and shinny,
your skin is flawless, your spirit is up and full of energy and you exude a
positive vibe that is contagious. Last year I went on a similar diet doing
pretty much exactly what you did on my own, I just cut out the things I
knew to be bad for me. I was very into power lifting and was 371lbs trying
for a 600lb bench so I was in the gym every day for 1.5hrs. After I made
that goal I went through a separation from my wife of 25yrs and my body
began to fall apart or so it seemed. I started dieting and walking five
miles a day and the pounds just started dropping off. Now a little over a
year later I’m 240lbs and to be honest I probably lost too much too fast
because I lost a lot of muscle also but still the weight needed to come
off. Oddly I never saw myself as heavy because of being so into
powerlifting but now that I’m 240lbs I can’t believe I once was 371lbs. The
cost of the muscle and lifting was unhealthy in the end, at least the way I
was doing it. Also you are so right about not being able to eat healthy in
restaurants. I was eating fish and vegetables in a area restaurant until
they told me that they pour lots of butter into the corn and cook the green
beans with bacon grease to make them taste better. I eat fish, fruit, nuts
and vegetables now from the store and organic when I can. I eat meat about
once every two weeks and even then I get the Laura’s Lean Beef. So anyway,
good for you, such a beautiful woman and good luck to you and your fiancé,
so great that you’re doing it now when you’re young. Fantastic video!!!
My highest weight was 185 pounds when I was 17, and though a bunch of ups
and downs, I reached 140 by the time I was 21. I’m 22 now.
But what worked during the past year was an entire lifestyle change, not a
diet plan.
I told myself: eat Fruits for breakfast everyday, eat natural foods
including fresh protein and veges, and avoid everything processed and junk.
I still may snack or binge on junk food, but when I just eat veges and fish
for example, I feel lighter and more energetic etc. And now eat veges like
brocolli and onions almost daily, just 2 years ago I would never touch
veges at all
We all die in the end, so I eat all I want. No diets/
one thing i like to do keep my compromise with exercising is keep track of
my daily workout routines by writing them down in a whiteboard and keep
track of everything i did. in that way ill think twice to choose to not
workout since i look at all the effort ive put into in the past. its kind
of a psychological trick
I’m very inspired by your story. I am in my own process as we speak and
although I have yet to create a youtube account, I have created a blog that
I’m hoping to gain a following on. Would you be willing to do a segment on
some of your favorite blogs and include mine? Thank you for your great
inspiration! Check out my blog when you get a chance.

This is amazing, congrats on your progress! Thanks for all the tips Im
on a personal weightloss journey too. I have a new fitness and health video
on my channel too, I hope you can come enjoy it! <3 Xo
I cook my own meals full of vegetables, I eat out in a blue moon. I have
take aways every few months. I bought hazelnut milk instead of low fat
milk. I drink only water… My downfall is carbs since I love noodles and
rice…. But I don’t lose weight. The reason is I don’t exercise much. Its
lame coz I’m lazy with that…. Sigh I need a work out plan
keep up the good work!
YOU ARE READY TO GO VEGAN!!!
Great tips and advice. I’m subscribing. I want to lose 20 lbs so I’ll
definitely use some of what you did into my diet. I just had my 2nd baby
girl 8 weeks ago. I lost 20 from breasfeeding. So I’m now at 145, just want
to lose a bit more, 15-20 lbs. I was hoping to see a before and after photo
of you Did i miss it?
Wow, you go girl! You look lean and sleek! :P
eating out is a waste? You must be a chef then. It depends on where you go
out to eat…
I am 220 lbs, down 5 lbs in 2 weeks ultimate goal 150 lbs but surpassing
200 and 180 (the weight I was in high school) would also be mini goals
along the way. I am eating: serving size honey nut cheerios cereal with
skim milk and fruit for breakfast, protein bar for snack, lunch all
portioned meat, cheese, mayo, mustard, and spinach in a whole wheat wrap
with fruit. Dinner is almost always 3 oz. lean meat, 1/2 cup rice, and
veggie of choice. For dessert (because I used to sit down to a bowl of
loaded ice cream) I have a sugar free Luigi’s ice cup thing. I take
either Sunday or Saturday as a reward day and had a microwave pizza in
addition to healthy leftovers last night. (which made me feel horrible go
figure!) And for drinks usually water or sometimes skim milk. So this is
the current diet, am I missing something? I don’t have the money yet to get
a gym membership, so I run/walk 2 miles/walk three miles with dog on
recovery days (2 a week I’d say?) but I HATE running currently dread it
because it brings on: back pain, knee pain, lung pain, and the sides of my
lower legs hurt. (lol what are they called?) So I’m looking to have my
current diet+exercise plan reviewed and critiqued by someone who has had
success. Any ideas? Thanks! Great video btw! :)
thank you, good video!
I’m also 5 foot so curious to see how much you ate. I’m a bit rusty on cup
measurements so if you could show the size of your meals would be nice.
Hi Janice,

let me know. You are an inspiration to us all.
