Four slimming tips make you slim down fast

How to lose weight effectively and healthily? What is wrong with my slimming project? Do I have to go on a diet during weight loss? You may have asked yourself those questions for many times. You are about to give up your slimming plans halfway because it seems not to work at all. Here I will tell you several slimming tips, which will yield twice slimming result with half of your efforts.

1. Eating nothing after 8 P.M..

Your body will restore excessive fat as the energy reserve whatever and whenever you eat. Think twice how many calories you have eaten that day before you want a snack before bedtime. It does not matter when you eat, but what and how much you eat and how much physical activity you take during the whole day. Those factors determine whether you gain, drop, or maintain your weight.

2. Do not believe those foods without any calories.

You may have heard of some slimming foods, because they are difficult to digest. Citrus fruits and celery have enjoyed the reputation of “negative-calorie foods” over the years. The problem is not those slimming food itself, but the gap between the calories your body burns in fueling the digestive cycle and those in the food itself. Although chewing celery might seem like a strenuous activity, the calories your body burns during chewing may be less than your imagination.

3. Keeping off high-calorie and high-sugar drinks and beverages.

If you have the habit of calculating the total of your calorie intake a day at the end of a meal or a day, would you take the calories of your drinks into consideration, such as can of soda, smoothie, cup of latte, or cocktail? People tend to take in calories more than they realize. For example, that can of soda you drink each morning is equivalent to the calorie that a piece of fruit and a slice of toast contains, about 150 calories. A smoothie can run up to an extra 500 to 1,000 calories despite its ingredients, whereas a 16-ounce latte with whole milk packs 260 calories. What’s more important, the brain doesn’t seem to care about liquid calories as accurately as calories that are chewed, and it doesn’t send stop-eating signals to keep you from eating more food. If you’re taking in only 1,200 to 1,500 calories a day, spare those calories for your foods. Therefore, it is the best for you to drink water and calorie-free beverages, and you could drop a pound or more within a week. 

4. Do not take desserts as your dinner.

You can enjoy a Rocky Road ice-cream dinner “now and then”, but it is not your steady routine. Don’t deny your favorite foods. Treat yourself with a meal made of your favorite foods, thus you’ll be less tempted to over-indulge in your feast.
